Take a step back in time as you visit the historic John Slaughter Ranch. Texas John Slaughter was one of the Southwest’s most beloved characters and most feared lawmen. After a 3-hour drive, we will visit the ranch and have a BYO picnic lunch in the shade as you enjoy the scenery, wildlife, and atmosphere that has been left largely untouched since John Slaughter’s time. (Note: the last 10 miles is a smooth gravel road.) Later that evening, we will enjoy dinner together with tour participants.
