We are looking for a new editor!

Hello everyone – I have really enjoyed being editor of the Zuffenhausen News and Driver’s Seat however, it is time to find a new editor. Personally, I find the editor’s role both challenging and fulfilling. It is time, however, for me to turn my full attention to my role as the president of our club. As I am sure you can imagine, there are a number of moving parts that need to be managed and I feel pulled in too many directions.

The entire board and I really have to concentrate on our club’s future as we look at celebrating our 50th anniversary and on expanding the participation in our club events.

We must work together to get a new editor in place in the next few months so we can have an effective transition before the end of 2016. I am encouraging you to get involved.

axel_olsenI am sure you understand the driving force behind these changes and hope you will step up to help keep these vital communication tools moving forward.

Please let me know if you are interested or know someone who is interested in taking on this role.

Thanks,
Axel

Welcome!

We’ve given our website a bit of a facelift! We’re pleased to reveal our new look, with a sleeker design and easier-to-find features. Our new site more effectively highlights what’s most important to us and to our Porsche community. Take our events, for example. Previously tucked away in a couple of different Photo Scrapbooks, they’re now all together under our “Photo Gallery” option with a robust archive of events over the last decade. Our calendar is your go-to resource for information on our upcoming driver and social events, tours, meetings and anything else we have going on that you need to know about. Look at our simplified navigation across the top of the web page and simply pick a topic … and you’re off!

We will now also be highlighting our advertisers on our home page and in our footer so they have greater visibility. In addition, we have added the websites of other Zone 8 Regions and have a link to our SAR Facebook page. You also will be able to access Porsche’s Twitter, YouTube and Instagram pages through our website, so check them out!
