Another Drive and Hike Save the Date!! This will be our second such outing in 2018!

This hike will emanate at or near the Marriott Starr Pass Resort in the Tucson Mountains. This trail is also known as he Bowen Stone House Trail. It is a relatively flat hike a bit over a mile. As always, sneakers or hiking shoes are highly recommended along with water, a snack, sunscreen and a snack. We will drive west of tucson,hike the Bowen trail and lunch and park at the Starr pass marriot. We will meet at the Kettle restaurant,748 Starr pass blvd. At 9:00,leaving at 9:20. The drive is 48 miles and about 1hour 20 minutes. The hike is a bit over 2 miles to the stone house out and back on a mostly flat trail. We van park at the resort. The PCA-SAR Driving Event Committee is offering you a discount for early registration and a discount if you are a new driver to this venue! If you have never driven on the Arroyo Seca Raceway track at one of our events, this High Performance Driver Education event is a great opportunity. The SAR Driving Event committee is offering 25% refund/discount on your fee for the first 5 new participants to sign-up for the event scheduled for 17-18 February. This is a saving of $50 on the two day fee. This offer is limited to the first 5 new drivers (one day or two day) so SAR can provide a safe and fun educational experience.
