Our first Drive and Hike of 2018, we will be heading down to San Xavier Mission to hike the Anza Trail!! We will meet at the San Xavier mission at 9:00, and depart at 9:30. Please bring water and snacks. Wear shoes for the hike, and bring sun protection. The hike is on the De Anza trail for one hour on a flat well-marked trail. The drive is 90 minutes , and the hike is a total of 60 minutes, about two miles. Lunch will be at Wisdoms, which is a landmark restaurant in Carmon AZ. If attending, please E-mail Kurt at driveandhike@pcasar.org so he can get a head count for lunch and parking. Kurt always puts together a fun day….we hope to see you there!!

Another Drive and Hike Save the Date!! This will be our second such outing in 2018!

This hike will emanate at or near the Marriott Starr Pass Resort in the Tucson Mountains. This trail is also known as he Bowen Stone House Trail. It is a relatively flat hike a bit over a mile. As always, sneakers or hiking shoes are highly recommended along with water, a snack, sunscreen and a snack. We will drive west of tucson,hike the Bowen trail and lunch and park at the Starr pass marriot. We will meet at the Kettle restaurant,748 Starr pass blvd. At 9:00,leaving at 9:20. The drive is 48 miles and about 1hour 20 minutes. The hike is a bit over 2 miles to the stone house out and back on a mostly flat trail. We van park at the resort.
